When donning a dress there are so many shapes, styles and colors a girl can choose from and depending on occasion it can also be a struggle to choose your style. We here at Id Couture totally understand your struggle so we’re here to give you styling tips on which dress to wear, our personal favorite styles, and also some suggestions for some style steals.
The maxi is a great casual outfit that can be dressed up or down for any occasion. There are also different styles to accommodate different body shapes. These are our fave styles. For the curvy, a maxi that accentuates your hips is a go-to. This will show your shapely figure while still keeping modest. For the long figure, a flowing dress can give the illusion of shape. An asymmetrical cut also adds shape to the dress. For the stylish women who wants to cover up a little, a flowing Kaftan style maxi is a great style choice. Also a good basic, the shape and cut of this dress is a statement that is sure to turn heads.
The mini dress is great for when the weather gets warmer and can be super classy and stylish. There are several styles and cuts available to choose from and these are just a few of our favorites. For the long figure we suggest a flowing dress shape. This version of the LBD (little black dress) is a cute and classy outfit choice appropriate for almost any occasion. For the curvy figure, we suggest either a slim fitting dress or one with a belt to accentuate those curves. Both of these styles are classy and elegant and show off your assets.
An evening dress is a gorgeous way to make a statement and channel your inner childhood princess. To suit different body shapes these are our fave different styles. For a traditional and classy look a long sleeve, long dress dress combo is a stunning way to accentuate long arms and legs. Also for the longer figure, if you’re wanting to accentuate those curves opt for a lower neckline and tight around the waist to show shape. For the curvy shape, our go-to is a figure-hugging bandage style.
