Short Styling Course London

Stylist Educator Tanja Mrnjaus  is incredibly honoured to be partnering with Fashion Retail Academy to deliver the Personal Styling Short course the week commencing the 5th – 7th December 2016.

Tanja will be on hand to deliver a unique three day stylist training course in London for the new recruits at the Fashion Retail Academy.

The Fashion Retail Academy is a unique, employer led college with charitable status and realisation that the industry faced an overwhelming skills gap for entry level jobs. FRA works with over 130 brands to provide unrivalled access to industry through master classes, live industry projects, workshops and placements to ensure our graduates meet the current recruitment needs of the industry.

The three day course provides an introduction to the world of fashion and styling including the areas of personal shopping, celebrity styling and how styling is used successfully in retail. This is a practical and contemporary course delivered in a series of lectures, workshops and practical sessions.

The course will include

 

  • Theories of body shapes and proportions
  • Colour and how to use it to your advantage
  • Building an effective wardrobe
  • How styling is used in retail
  • Styling on fashion shoots and fashion shows
  • Practical exercises
  • Completion of research tasks and independent research are required during the course
