Style Tips with a Stylist : Lydia

The other day we got the absolute pleasure to meet and interview Stylist and all round style queen Lydia. Having spread herself over personal styling and shopping all the way through to interior styling, Lydia knows a thing or two about style and styling for you. She believes personal styling is all about understanding the client. This includes their personality, what they like and also what suits their body type. It is”all about speaking”, getting their particular style to speak who they are and show their personality. Lydia also shared with us some of her wisdom and style tips, which will help get those creative juices flowing and get you looking your stylish best!

Women

For all the women out there, we asked Lydia to share  her best kept secrets in shopping for your body type. Seed is a modern women’s clothing option stocking a loose fitting style Its great for long body shapes and for adding shape to your figure. Men

For the men, shops like Roger Davis and Scotch and Soda are Lydia’s best kept secrets. Although maybe slightly pricey, the items from Scotch and Soda exude personality through their loud colors and patterns. On the other-hand, Roger David is great to find the casual Sunday outfit or something more formal to dress it up at night. Lydia also expressed the importance of belts, bags, shoes and watches. These are the accessories which make your outfits go from an 8 to a styling 10!

Children

For the kids, Bonds and Bardot Junior were very high on Lydia’s personal favorite’s list.
